These gluten-free vanilla donuts are soft, lightly sweet, and perfect for a special occasion or brunch. Baked instead of fried, they have a tender crumb and a light, fluffy texture.

Easy to make, they’re a great way to enjoy homemade gluten-free donuts with a delicious result.

This recipe is made with our baking powder and our Cannelle gluten-free all-purpose flour.

INGREDIENTS

Dry ingredients

160 g Cannelle gluten-free all-purpose flour
100 g sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt

Wet ingredients

2 eggs
120 ml milk
60 ml vegetable oil
1 tbsp vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Preheat the oven
Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and grease a donut pan.

2. Mix the dry ingredients
In a bowl, combine the Cannelle gluten-free all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. Mix the wet ingredients
In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.

4. Make the batter
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until smooth.

5. Fill the pan
Spoon or pipe the batter into the donut pan, filling each cavity about 3/4 full.

6. Bake
Bake for 10–12 minutes, until lightly golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

7. Cool
Let cool for a few minutes before removing from the pan.

CANNELLE TIP

– For a chocolate version, add 2 tbsp cocoa powder to the dry ingredients and slightly adjust the milk if needed.
– Dip the donuts in a vanilla or chocolate glaze, then add sprinkles for a fun “birthday cake” version.
– Add chocolate chips or fresh berries (blueberries, raspberries) to the batter for different flavor variations.
– For an extra indulgent touch, dip the donuts in melted chocolate and let set before serving.
