These gluten-free burger buns are soft, lightly golden, and perfect for making homemade burgers. Their soft, flexible texture holds fillings well without falling apart.
This recipe is prepared with our Cannelle gluten-free all-purpose flour.

INGREDIENTS
Dry ingredients
3 cups all-purpose flour Gluten-Free Cannelle
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 tsp of salt
1 tablespoon of instant yeast
1 tsp xanthan gum (if your flour doesn't contain it, the all-purpose cinnamon flour does)
Liquid ingredients
1 cup of lukewarm milk
2 eggs
3 tablespoons of olive oil or melted butter
For the finishing
1 beaten egg (for glazing)
sesame seeds (optional)

PREPARATION
1. Activate the yeast
In a bowl, mix the lukewarm milk and sugar. Add the yeast and let it rest for 5 minutes until the mixture foams.
2. Mix the dry ingredients
In a large bowl, mix the gluten-free flour, salt and xanthan gum if needed.
3. Add the liquid ingredients
Add the eggs and oil to the yeast mixture.
4. Form the dough
Pour the liquid ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix with a spoon or a mixer until you get a thick, sticky dough.
5. Shape the loaves
With lightly oiled hands, form 6 balls of dough and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Flatten slightly to form the shape of burger buns.
6. Let it rise
Cover with a cloth and let rise in a warm place for 45 minutes .
7. Gilding
Brush the breads with the beaten egg and add sesame seeds if desired.
8. Cooking
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 18 to 22 minutes , until the loaves are golden brown.
9. Cooling
Allow to cool on a wire rack before slicing.

CANNELLE TIP
- Lightly dampen your hands to make handling the gluten-free dough easier.
- For even softer bread, add 1 tbsp of honey to the dough.
- Lightly toast the buns before assembling the burger for a better texture.
